  • Laurence Connors - CEO and Founder

    Mr. Connors has over 24 years experience working in the financial markets industry. He started his career in 1982 at Merrill Lynch and later moved on to become a Vice President with Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette.

    Mr. Connors has authored top-selling books on market strategies and volatility trading, including How Markets Really Work, Street Smarts (with Linda Raschke), and Investment Secrets of a Hedge Fund Manager. Street Smarts has recently been selected by Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine as one of "The Classics" for trading books written in the past century. His books have been translated into German, Italian and Japanese.

    Mr. Connors' opinions and insights have been featured or quoted in: the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Barron's, Bloomberg TV & Radio, Dow Jones Newswire, Yahoo!Finance, E-Trade Financial Daily, Futures Magazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, and others. Mr. Connors has been a featured speaker at a number of major investment conferences over the past decade.
  • Jason Vogelpohl - Vice President, Advertising

    Jason Vogelpohl joined The Connors Group in 2002 and is responsible for advertising sales, revenue share, and other strategic relationships. Mr. Vogelpohl was the first employee hired at IPO.com in 1997 and became Vice President of Business Development. Before joining IPO.com, he traded options on and off the Frankfurt am Main Stock Exchange in Germany and worked on the options floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange. Mr. Vogelpohl was graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Economics and a second Bachelors of Arts Degree in German Studies.
  • Eddie Kwong - Executive Vice President

    Prior to joining The Connors Group in 1999 as a content market analyst, Eddie Kwong was a co-founder and editor of Realtraders.com, an informational Web site for professional traders. Mr. Kwong's experience in the markets has also extended into software development and teaching. He is also the editor of The 401(k) MarketBuster, The Real Holy Grail, The Answers , and speaks at seminars nationwide. He is a graduate of UCLA.
  • Steven Primo - Director of Education

    Steven Primo is the Director of Education for The Connors Group and General Partner and Head Trader for Primo Capital Management, a private investment partnership. He has been an active trader for over 26 years. Mr. Primo began his career on the Pacific Stock Exchange where he later became a Specialist for Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette, Inc. (DLJ).
  • Conrad Kalil - Director of Technology

    Before becoming The Connors Group's lead technology executive, Conrad Kalil planned, designed, and constructed more than 25 major Web properties, including sites for PROMAX, MGM/UA, Motion Pictures, Rentline, the 1995 Academy Awards, and Revlon. Mr. Kalil also worked as a Web site developer on various in-house publications for Miramar Communications. In 1994, he started the Web development company, Action Media. He joined The Connors Group in 1998.
  • Danilo S. Torres - Director of Operations

    Danilo has spent the majority of the last decade working in the financial markets publishing industry and currently serves as the Director of Operations for TradingMarkets. Mr. Torres began working with Laurence Connors in 1995, shortly after the publication of "Investment Secrets of a Hedge Fund Manager". He joined TradingMarkets.com at its inception in 1998 and now leads the operations function for the company. He received both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
  • Sangram Kakulavaram - VP, Creative Services and Head of West Coast Operations

    Sangram Kakulavaram translates The Connors Group business vision into unique and innovative design solutions. An Executive Creative Director with over 12 years of experience, Mr. Kakulavaram has delivered high impact creative strategies and user interfaces to startups, mid-size, and Fortune 1000 companies, including: Mercedes-Benz, Dow Jones, Canon USA, Toshiba, Conexant, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, and many others. He is focused in the areas of interactive media, branding, digital marketing, consumer portals, operational efficiencies, and product launches. He also has experience within the digital effects industry and worked with clients such as 20th Century Fox, CBO Productions, Cessna Aircraft Company, Daewoo, Disney, Graphic Films, Grey Advertising, New Line Cinema, RKO Pictures, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. He holds a Masters Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

    He was one of the judges of the 2004 Web Awards and was recently selected as a judge for the upcoming 2008 (IAC) Internet Advertising Competition Awards produced by the Web Marketing Association.
